The Islanders don't have a third rounder this coming draft, Snow burnt it trading for Brandon Davidson last year.

I think that was part of the problem, Lou prob didn't want to overpay with the Calgary second rounder, since the Isles are already missing their second (wasted in the expansion draft), third and fourth rounders.

The Isles were def a bit hamstrung by the lack of draft picks in 2019.

Yes, because if we'd had a third round pick to trade, which we didn't, the bottom 3 winger we would have gotten in return would have surely been the difference between a Cup or not.

Komarov spotted in at C yesterday. Was 56% from the dot. plan looks like he will play C until Filppula is back. Did get a pt playing C and was +2.

That whole line was solid last game, and spent a lot of time in the other end, forechecking and cycling.

He can't score to save his life, but give Leo credit, he has made some very nice tape to tape passes of late. Not just last night and not everyone has finished for him, but some really sweet dishes. You had to do a double-take to be sure it was really UL when you saw them, at least I did.

Not scoring, but yes, doing surprisingly well in the assist department. At even strength, he's 12th in ice time, but 5th in assists (7th in ice time and 4th in assists among forwards).

Now if he could only score....
