If Buff comes into camp out of shape next year - holy cow will he suffer!!!

Buff was in "ok" shape prior to Maurice being here , not great no where near perfect but "ok" .

You could see he lost weight from that time until the end of the season. A lot more exertion at forward and most likely more at practise too. Maurice isn't ***** footing or sugar coating things , Buff knows what he is expected to do this off season. Personally I still think he is best at D if paired right , but it is evident Maurice likes him a W.

If Maurice wants to roll 3 lines fairly evenly that isn't so bad , but if Buff is a 3rd line winger and the 3rd line gets a fair bit less ice time then it is hard to justify the use of the player/asset imo.

Buff will always get his ice time playing forward since he plays defense on the 1st PP unit and usually 1st on in 4-4 situations. His ice time #'s were always among the top forward #'s.
