Not sure how I feel. Granlund may be a fringe NHHer, but we know he's that. Shinkaruk has work to do to reach that, but has a higher ceiling. Time will tell.

I guess we didn't need to draft him to get him. Shows all those people from that draft day

Shinkaruk is going to be GREAT, trust me on this I have never been this pissed.

Living here, I'll miss Granlund...but Shinkaruk is a blue chip prospect so it's a solid move.

Really? At worst I see this as a lateral move. It looks relatively lateral right now, but Shinkaruk has a higher ceiling than Granlund does and if he keeps it together. It's too early to really judge this trade as a win/lose deal right now, IMO.

Granlund will go play well with the twins. Unfortunately for him the Euro style really did not jive with the chemistry in the Flames locker room.

Shrinkaruk however is going to fit in great. I think the Flames win the trade.
