Matthews in his 5th season is demolishing what MacK had done in his 5th season and MacK at arguably his peak as a player isn't really much better than Matthews is while still developing. Sure, you can take MacK over Matthews at this very moment in time but I don't think it's gonna stay that way for long. Matthews is on his come up and he's got the rocket in the bag this year. Next year, I wouldn't be shocked if he and Marner take it to another gear and he's challenging for a Ross or Hart or maybe even a Selke. Exciting time to be a Leafs fan.
