Can't see how anything involving Montreal makes sense. We can't pay Galenychuck (or Drouin if they are just middle man between Tampa/Wild), and Nino/Granlund.

Yeah, but those aren't the same things when you're forced to leave prime-aged top 4 defensemen unprotected as well.

Ironically, Brodin+ for Duchene is still the only Brodin trade I've seen that I kind of liked.

No idea what the trade talks are centering around, but I can pretty much guarantee it isn't with Drouin. I am pretty sure it was Bob M. who has already said that Bergevin and Drouin's agent are already talking about an extension
