Yes, it is only one game. There are some red flags though. Too many penalties all year. PK is good but not great enough to offset the penalties. Why Mailloux is not QB’ing or on the left side for one timers on PP’s is hard to understand.

Discipline is very important in today’s OHL. It is a very soft league - you cannot afford any retaliatory or lazy penalties.

What a horrible effort.. Didn’t skate, couldn't make a pass, sloppy, PP and PK disappointing. Sting showed up, outplayed us, earned the 2 points. Sarnia is the real deal.

Probably due, in part, to the fact that the Knights had to play Windsor last night, while Sarnia had the night off.

Same reason why Windsor lost to Flint tonight.

Give credit where credit is due. Sarnia played very well tonight and had their last meeting in Sarnia on their mind all night. Add PPs , PKs and team discipline it translate to the big W for them. Be best for London putting this one behind, work on special teams and move forward

Put this one in the shredder and move on. Total domination from puck drop to final whistle. PP is on life support. Discipline lacking. PK was not good. Just 1 game but may be the worst game they've played all season. Some of our early offensive contributors have all but disappeared. And the 'moves' we made at the trade deadline just haven't gelled. Winterton is hot and cold, Humphrey is a hot head some times. Sarnia is deep, quick and talented with lots of guys that can put the puck in the net. Going to be hard to beat in the playoffs.

It was a total team train wreck. It happens. The good thing is a game like that can have a positive effect in future games in that they know what not to do again. Hopefully they learn from it and realize you can’t take a night off against any team. And I’m sure they will. No one likes to be embarrassed like that.

That is too easy of a cop out excuses to blame it on the previous game, they have won countless 3 games in 3 days before and this was their second game. On a no super star team all players must be on their game, management must pick up on it soon and your leaderships must ensure no one player on the full 20 men team isn't slacking off any. The head game is as important as the skill game.

Adding ; That is the reason Shawinigan beat London in the 2012 M cup game, playing and winning four hight tempo games in five days including the final. London had three full days of rest before the final

I suggested this prior to the long road stand. I think it would have benefited the team last weekend to drive from Owen Sound straight to Guelph and this week to to from Windsor right to Sarnia.

But it is what it is. Good thing the Spits lost too. Off until Thursday give the boys Saturday and Sunday off and back to practice on Monday.
