So what's the flubbed pass counter for Hyman tonight? 4? 5?

He's f***ing trash offensively and isn't that consistent on his defensive game, doesn't deserve a sniff on Matthews line. Leivo would make their cycle game so much better

Seems like all it takes is one bad Hyman game for people to turn..... Well my stance is already very well known. Saying that, I think Hyman should be given the benefit of the doubt here. Didn’t watch the game, but it seems like a lot of the team played like trash. Matthews and Nylander won’t be able to carry a guy like Hyman offensively vs a team that will clog up the neutral zone like Ottawa.

Hoping Hyman and the team bounces back because while I want Hyman moved, Babcock won’t do it so let’s atleast win.

Don't get all the Hyman hate. He was fine tonight, not bad at all. About ten other guys were worse ...

If the Leafs could one day find a hard working, power forward replacement for Hyman, look out...

watching Hyman can be so painful at times. He's not very strong on his skates he always seems to be on the ice, he throws the puck blindly away all the time. Nylander and Matthews with be flying around the zone the whole shift only for Hyman to mess it up as soon as he gets it. He works very hard and he's a decent player but he doesn't have any offense to his game. he would be perfect for a third line trying to add some energy not a 1st line with two of e most skilled players in the NHL.

That is what a lot of us have been echoing. He's a good player, but just not really what you want in terms of a 1st line LW. Yes, he may be the best forechecker in hockey with an elite drive train but he leaves a lot to be desired in terms of skill. If he's not behind the net trying to pass to Matthews he's not really doing much to create offensive.

Apparently, Marner looked good with Matthews and Nylander? While it will never happen it might be just the spark Marner needs to get out of this funk.

Hyman continues to improve offensively.

He has 4 goals in 10 games with a 19% SH% scoring 4 on 19 shots this year.

Kadri also has 4 goals on 29 shots for shooting % of 13.8, and Marleau is also tied on 4 goals on 31 shots for 12.9 SH%.

Only Matthews (8) and JVR (5) have more goals after 10 games.

PS. It took Hyman until game 26 games last year to score 4 goals.
