Aaron Rodgers is the first player to start a season at quarterback and fail to complete a pass for the season since Joe Gasparella in 1951, who was 0/2 with 1 INT for 2 teams.

Better him than Cousins! They won't go anywhere with Siemian.

The D is good enough they just need a QB who can make simple plays and occasionally take shots

A functional offense that provides scoring with that D makes them dangerous opponent.

They should have signed him after Rodgers injury so he would be nearly ready to take over for Wilson though

Now it may be a couple weeks

Have to go with a game manager and ride the D. Run the ball and don’t turn the ball over.

Baker also had one of the better play callers in the league (granted last night doesn't help his case) while Siemian has a dude who rode the coattails of a first ballot HOFer QB.

Thing is Wilson hasn't turned over the ball but he's completely neutered himself of that gunslinging mentality. They were open throws on Sunday v NE but he's so checked out mentally that he doesn't want to cost the team by trying to make a sparkling throw that it winds up being an INT. The Dallas game, who cares, that game was lost anyway when he was chucking shit up. If you want to check his second to last drive which led to a Jets TD, the mix between him checking it down and going for the big throw is the Zach Wilson they need but most of it could probably be attributed to NE playing prevent defense.

Zach Wilson in a gunslinging mentality guarantees interception; It's been that way last year and it still is this year. Everyone knows he's a meathead but you gotta let him put forth a body of work because...labor situation.

I know the post is old but he did toss a potential gamebreaking pick against Denver with very few minutes to go.

Seems kind of pointless for him to come back at all at this point. Playoffs are essentially out of the question given where they are and how the conference is shaping up. What’s there to be gained by getting him on the field beyond him saying he did it?

Wouldn't surprise me at all if he ends up playing only a few snaps, if any at all. Again, just to "dunk on modern medicine".

The Jets season is lost. His team isn't stupid enough to put him out there in meaningless games at full speed after a largely experimental procedure.

He'll insist and they might give him some garbage time, but he won't be playing meaningful football again until next hear.

Can the Jets be eliminated before the window expires? That’ll tell you when he gets cleared.
