Hard to tell with no numbers on the practice jersey but I would guess Fehr. Looked on the bigger side.
Makes sense, one guy from each line.
Komarov and Hyman
Marner and Fehr

Excellent, paired with whom?

Marlea, Marner, Marincin and Rosen
To me that says they are like a 3rd emergency pk unit
Hyman-Brown
Komarov-Kadri
would be my 1st 4 forwards with Marleau 5th

edit: actually fehr instead of kadri maybe, fehr is up there to for sure same with moore when/if he plays

No Leafs on waivers today and with Borgman practicing this morning, it looks like Rosen and Liljegren will be sent to the Marlies and 23 man rosters will be set by 5 PM today.

I assume Marner is getting PK work to be the 5th forward option. In case of injury or if one of the regular PK'ers is in the box.

Have to believe Hyman, Brown, Leo and 4th C are the top 4 PKers.

Borgman-Carrick is such a huge upgrade over Hunwick-Polak, it's amazing. I'd have Aaltonen instead of Fehr, but Fehr seems better than Moore for sure.

Hyman, Brown, Komarov and Fehr/Moore are the 2 pairs of PK players.

Babcock said yesterday Brown will start on the 4th line but get both PP and PK time to supplement his TOI/g.

Woohoo! Tomorrow night can't come fast enough. This is definitely a better team (on paper) than last years. Excited to see Borgman, hope he lays someone out.

Love Kipper and the bunch, yah gotta think Moore has that position, they went and got him....

Dopes doesn't get that a 1m contract can be buried almost completely.

Interesting to see Fehr over Moore..... Fehr does have more offensive upside than Moore and can play physical.
I've never minded Fehr. I don't think the Leafs looked at him last year as necessarily a cap dump

I think for PK it will be:

1st: Komarov Hyman
2nd: Fehr Brown
3rd: Marleau Marner

then after PK Babs goes to the Matthews-Kadri-Nylander for a shift followed by Bozak line as was the case last season

It's finally here!

I think we'll see more of that Matthews magic from his first game last year. Matthews seems like a big fan of statement games to start things off...Opening night, 2017 winter classic etc, tomorrow night ;).

I think the one game he did end up playing (and then got injured) he was flying and hitting everything that moved - It was pretty exciting few shifts

I definitely think he was aquired to be depth/PK specialist/Vet for the playoffs. Hehad some bangers for shifts in the game he got injured in

Pretty good depth at forward, more than a match for the jets 1-12.

I like that the new D get their feet wet on the road.

would be great to see an overtime game and have Matthews outduel Laine to be the hero, great symmetry and sets up a long term rivalry well.

I miss the days where we were relevant enough to be a serious rival in the eyes of other fanbases, and look forward to having grudges like Montreal and Boston fans hold for eachother
