Bruins 3 points behind with 3 games in hand.

Certainly, it is early, but not too early to suggest this is a playoffs bound team?

Wonder which line gets demoted to 4th. line minutes tonight?

I still don't think our D is the problem. I think it's the mindset of our entire team with the exception of a few. We make high risk passes, we exit the zone early...forwards don't do a great job of coming back and back checking and our defense is thinking offense first.

I say this because in games where we've decided to play defense...we've won. Easily.

It's because of this that their is no "fix" where a D man would come in and change the mentality of our entire team.

I've changed my tune, and have begun to see it this way as well.

To a man (save for AM34) we're reverting to those Wilson-era habits of beginning a rush before the D has even secured possession. Trying too many high-risk passes to initiate a rush.

We have the firepower, we can afford to be at least a little conservative in our up-ice attack in order to help out the D.

Gardiner's spectacular, Defcon 1-type gaffes aren't helping as far as assigning blame to one player.

How many f***ing times does Babcock has to tell them that they can't win on talent alone? You have to work, compete. I hope they get it eventually.

Gardiner is the biggest disappointment for me this year. He looked so good in the first game agaisnt Winnipeg and in our training camp, I really thought he turned a corner. Now I'm done with him. He can move on.

Another tough game against a good team. Can't wait till this road trip is over.

I have multiple broken ankles from jumping on and off Gards' bandwagon.

Low IQ, elite skating, elite hands....the only thing that will ever change is his skating.

I'd have no qualms whatsoever about moving him for the right deal.

This game is in the bag for St Louis. It is time for management to own it, this is not a very good team and will soon be out of the playoffs.

chill the fck out. It's not even been 25 games. Gardiner besides slipping on the shittest ice in the NHL, was fine last game.
