Who will backup Vasilevsky? Ingram, Domingue, Pasquale or someone else?
In the NHL yes, in the AHL no. Does TB mind paying a guy $680k to play in Syracuse? That's real money for someone, even if they're wealthy.
I was one of the few who like Andreoff. Hes got ok hands for a 4th liner but hes got a reputation and gets crap called against him quite a bit. Hes sub par at fighting but tries to go. Budaj will be a great mentor for Peterson.
We were going to be paying Budaj over a million down there.
my mistake, I thought that Budaj was UFA
I actually like the kid as well Hes got decent hands for a 4th liner He will stand up for a teammate at least. He tried with Tkachuk but ended up with a stupid penalty I wish him luck in tampa
Why would the Kings go with Jack Campbell as their backup over Budaj?
Domingue did a good job as a backup when Budaj went down. If he keeps it up I'm fine with him.
Domingue played better than Budaj did last year. Budaj was good the year before though.
You have the wrong guy going to Ontario. Jack will be the backup in LA and Budaj will be in Ontario.
Needless to say this is the move that gets us the Cup next season.
Hutchinson would be a good backup.
Dang, almost got his hand with the skate there.
Cause since working with our goalie coaching his game is coming along nicely and he is a better goalie than Budaj.
the real question is why would any team have any of those two as their backup
Condra was down there this year too. I guess TB doesn't mind paying guys NHL money down there.
It's a hard cap league, and Quick is the #1 guy unless injured.
The kings always acquire budaj
He's a warm body.
A slow motion display of how not to defend yourself.
Arent Domingue and Pasquale UFA?
I was hoping the Kings would land Connor McDavid for Andreoff, but I’ll settle with Budaj.
Vinik doesn't mind. The organization doesn't mind either. It is also good to have vets down there for the young ones. While we paid Condra to be down in Syracuse, he was the captain and since he has been down there a few of our call ups look like they benefited from an experienced vet from the league. I am not saying Condra is a savant with young players, but his influence probably helped prepare some of the young guys who came up to be mentally prepared for the big times.
Lol. I went to school with him, he's definitely not an enforcer. Anything to keep a job in the show though.
Bieksa has caught much better fighters with the superman punch too.
