Doubt Blake is on the hot seat with ownership. They were aware of a big move like Dubois and the cap issues that would come with it for this season. I think ownership will roll with Blake and Luc as of today.

I would say if you're talking for the remainder of this season, I agree that it sounds like his leash and fate are linked to results this year and he wouldn't be removed before its conclusion, but I would be shocked and livid if he isn't at risk of being fired if the Kings miss the playoffs or are bounced in the first round. That would warrant a considerable reaction from the fanbase. Blake and Hiller have both admitted and used rhetoric indicating that the performance of the team for the remainder of this season is what they are going to be judged on.

He's pretty much an ideal 6th or 7th dman. Reads the game well, decent positioning and doesn't take a ton of risks, only real knock is the lack of physicality
