It will leave us with something to figure out. Still most likely with Gardiner. But we have been thought to need another forward.I respect the pettiness but if Montreal lets him go doesn't that kind of screw you guys?
GTFOH. So ridiculous and why? A. He isn’t worth that
2. We’d be in some issues with cap unless Gardiner is going LTIR.
A+ for pettiness though
Burying him in Chicago would only save 1.15 million, still less than 6.1I don't think that is true. If Gardiner doesn't go LTIR I think they can make it work by just burying Gardiner in the AHL. It would be tight all year like last year, but I think they could swing it.
Also beautiful they locked up Svech before pulling this off. Of course, now gotta watch out for Necas maybe!
Nino's 5.25M contract is up after this year, too.Montreal doesn't match, then off-season 2022 fire Jstaal into the sun and re sign KK at 5.5 or 6 mil aav long term to be the new slightly overpaid 2/3 guy.
Foolproof
I can only assume in the case we get him, they see him as a player ready to grow.Unless he is prime for a blow up in production giving him 6 million is an incredibly dumb waste of cap space and 2 good picks. .33 ppg production in 171 games.
The $20 signing bonus is an incredible level of pettiness I didn’t know existed. A+ stuff there.
Please accept Montreal because trading a 1st and a 3rd for KK wouldn’t be great
I honestly don't know if I'd match this if I'm Montreal.
