Got a question for you guys. Not sure the answer. Hypothetically if kingston drops to 8th, and they make it on from round 1. What happens with their draft position? Do they then move up to the lowest draft pick of those remaining in round 2 (12+)or does it just go off where they finish in the regular season?( 5th/6th)
Regular season finish.

It's where they finish in regular season that determines draft positions overall in standings after the bottom 4 teams.

I think a lot went wrong - 3 PP goals, 2 EN goals. They didn't capitalize on opportunities, lost a lot of puck battles, and in the first period the passing was horrendous.
absolutely. Minus the shots there was a lot of things that went wrong in that game- however just means they CAN be that much better if they work on some of that stuff.

Hopefully they will because with the playoffs around the corner here you can’t be having mental lapses at key points in the game.

Huge game tonight between barrie and Ottawa. Will definitely be checking back on it every now and then. Ottawa beat barrie in Ottawa 6-4 earlier in the week but shots were very close. Now they’re in barrie for the game.

Barrie saw we lost last night and this game is huge for them. Then in the next bunch of games they play Sudbury twice, north bay once, niagara twice, and Pete’s once. They’re only 6 pts behind us and our only “easy” game we have the rest of the year is Friday against Peteborough, then Ottawa, brantford and north bay are the last few to close out the regular season.

Assuming Oshawa keeps climbing this may work out to be a better matchup for kingston though if they drop to 8th. Barrie probably would feel the same as well. Nobody wants to be facing north bay or Sudbury first round.

Just checked the standings…pretty clear the goal now is to lose (errrr…not think about winning and get ready for the playoffs healthy) :)

Plus I’d much rather have the 5th overall pick than the 10th!
Do you think #35 will get 2 or 3 starts over the final 4 games if this is the coaches mindset?
