TSN Insider trading just covered that topic. The answer is yes. Even if players aren't concerned about the political aspects they certainly are concerned with the financial and that the value of their pay has been cut in half by the decline of the ruble.
And yet Prince and Granlund were the only ones to do anything. That Platt was let go says more about his value more than about anything else, frankly.

Also it's kinda funny that 2 of those bolting have sold themselves to play for Belarus before

Watched a little of cska game, not really in the mood....
I agree. Hockey games just seem so pointless now.

And unfortunately everything Russian seems kind of tainted at the moment to me as a Scandinavian, which is sad since one man or one government's decision doesn't reflect on a whole people.

Just sad, stupid and needless :(

Wow, sensational games today, a sign of the future.

Next season, less imports, each team has to dress 3 players 21 and under. Better for development and the league will be less defensive and more entertaining.

Despite all the troubles around the KHL at the moment, the playoffs are producing some great games.
