How about those old timers Saprykin and Afinogenov both with 2 goals today.

!! MNK goes HD :amazed: sucks to be NZNK, AVTO, SEV, etc.

Their previous home broadcaster tv channel TNV lost a contract to a tv channel from Kemerovo - Moy Gorod. They were choosing a broadcaster based on their equipment. No need to feel sorry for Avto or other teams, as they too could have chosen a better companies.

WHy do those teams not choose different broadcasters? Avto was broadcasting some games in HD 2 years ago, then switched back to SD broadcasting?

I was not expecting much from Nazarov but this is worse than I thought. How can they lose to Novokuznetsk? Not one Novokuznetsk player would make the SKA line up.

I wonder how Kovalchuk feels to be in a similar situation to his situation while he was in Atlanta. Lol.

So back to Bobkov. He gave up 2 goals on 2 shots to Amur in a minute and a half and got pulled. GAA of 80.90. :laugh:

KHL sure knows a thing or 2 about who's good:

To mark the end of the second week’s play of the eighth season of the Championship, The Kontinental Hockey League has named the best players of the week in four categories.

– Best goaltender was Stanislav Galimov (CSKA), with two shutout wins in two games;

– Best defenseman was Alexei Vasilevsky (Avtomobilist), who scored at least one point and achieved a positive plus/minus in all three outings, ending the week with 5 points (2+3) and a +5;

– Best forward was Maxim Kazakov (Metallurg Novokuznetsk), who matched Vasilevsky’s haul of 5 points (3+2) from three appearances and earned a +3 for the week. Maxim took points from every game and scored twice against Medvescak;

– Best rookie was 20-year-old Metallurg Novokuznetsk goalie Andrei Kareyev, who helped his team to victory in two out of three games and recorded a save percentage of .9369. Kareyev can even claim a de facto unbeaten week, as he was replaced by Filip Novotny for the shootout in the 4-3 loss to Medvescak.

Really funny this thing with foreign players. Professional would have been to have everything established before the start of the season, even if I know that some people, like Rotenberg are saying that everyone was aware of this since last season!!!

Lugin has 4 goals in the past 2 games.

Traktor has been shut out twice in a row.

Barys got crushed by Lada of all teams, 6-0.

MMg - CSKA today should be a great game

Really hope they will drop some teams like MNk, Lada, Yugra, etc. to improve overall quality of hockey. Set them up as VHL franchises with farm-team agreements with KHL clubs.

Traktor lose 1-2 at home in OT to Sibir. Which isn't a big deal. That's the 4th loss in a row which is pretty bad but they played against pretty solid teams mostly away from home so oh well, it happens. However, today's goal was first and only in last 4 matches, overall they average 1.33 goals per game this season which is beyond horrible, pretty much.

I'd say Nikolishin is on pretty thin ice here as his team seems to be unable to score without any good reason, really. Will be interesting to see how Traktor handles Amur, Admiral and Kuznya in upcoming fixtures.

Is it true KHL is investigating Spartak because of falsely reporting fan number at the arena? 7700 vs 3000?
