We have Hornqvist, which at this point in his career is far superior to Lucic, in nearly every way... so a huge HUGE no from Pittsburgh on Lucic. If, and it’s a also IF Kessel is traded he will be traded for defense.

they dropped 20 spots in the draft and swapped Oskar "If I were an ice cream flavor I'd be vanilla" Sundqvist for Reaves. hardly the steep price people insist it was.

And then flipped him so that their new "3C" comes with a 2m cap savings courtesy of LV, and instead of Brassard counting for 5m, he only counts for 3m against the cap. That worked out rather well for PIT.

Was a terrible signing from day one, and Lucic looked like he was skating in quicksand last year. He dropped off a cliff. Pens laugh at that offer for Kessel, one of the best RW in the entire league

Interesting, the Penguins are getting a worse return than what they gave up for Kessel. All while after Kessel has won 2 cups and also had 92 points last season. Interesting.
