True. Shinkaruk was also attached to the rumoured trade IIRC. Canucks have a decent amount of young valuable assets that are nearing NHL readiness. Could be an even wilder couple hours ahead.

At least it ended up being Anaheim. Kesler replacing Handzus and Bickell would have made them much, much better. That's the position we're in right now, being happy when our rivals don't improve as much as they possibly can to become an even bigger Cup threat.

Anaheim, Los Angeles, Chicago, the west is head and shoulders above the east right now, it's not even close.
