Benning called Dubas, not the other way around, and the ask was Carcone. There is a market for him, I'm sure he will not hit waivers. How you'd interpret that as a 4th is beyond my comprehension.

As a neutral fan, everyone saying Leivo is "top 6" just sound out of touch. Maybe he has some offense, but he is likely a 3rd liner.
I am sure the test of time will show this to be true.

Precisely. If people are suggesting it’s Top6 OR Bust I’d be leaning towards Bust. Leivo can contribute and likely has a role and can help the Canucks but if he’s playing a significant role in the Top of the Lineup the Canucks are going to be hanging around the lottery for a while. Every team has Leivo-like prospects (based on what he’s actually shown at the NHL level to date) and most have them in spades.
