Six years is disappointing but kind of proves the 'Gio cap' was a thing.

Oh well; Gaudreau gets another chance at another payday at the age of 29 while the Flames get the cap hit at a number they're comfortable with.

Hopefully the Flames make the best of their six year cup window.

Wow. So relieved that its finally over.
figured it would be 6 years, but shocked it actually came in at 6.75. was guessing around 7.15

EDIT: does my avatar apply towards Johnny's agent now?

I'm over this Primadonna, bring back SKRusty and let's go get Saad.

Recovering from my second surgery that rebuilt my shattered ankle. I have been watching as this plays out. Treliving returning with an unsigned Johnny does not bode well for signing Johnny in the short term.

****. Yes.

I know it's only 6 years, but if he wants to be here, we'll be able to re-sign him after five. If he doesn't want to be here, we can move him for a king's ransom, hopefully.

I was **** on on this point since January so it is nice to see the information I was provided was correct. It will be interesting to see how no training camp affects his game.
