I beg to disagree, we already have Mason and Hutch. There's only so many backups of backups you can have. The odds of us running out of all of them during the playoffs is smaller than the upside of bringing in impact roster players.

Whether you have 1 piece of poo or 10 pieces of poo, it's still poo.

Any of our 3 guys, Hutch, Mase or Comrie could come in and play great, but they all have their limitations and question marks. I would have felt much better getting a bona-fide veteran goalie with playoff experience.

If we end up getting knocked out of the playoffs because goaltending was a weakness, considering the low cost of insuring that - that would really suck.
