Fo some odd reason when they traded Horvat, theyjust stopped using the bumper setup.

It works. It was working because it's a great play that's hard to stop. They have multiple players who can shoot as well or better than Horvat.

This wall passing, fancy line shit that doesn't end up going anywhere but into shinpads is just so ineffective.

We should try playing like crap against the Jets, maybe that will work?

What a waste of a Juulsen goal and Myers beauty.

Him not scoring for 5 years and us losing reminds me I think Shane OB score like 4 goals in a Canuck uniform, they were all losses. Or like 3 were.

Home game against a top team in the league.

Our #1 scorer, Pettersson: 0 points
Our #2 scorer, Miller: 0 points
Our #3 scorer, Hughes: 0 points
Our #4 scorer, Boeser: 0 points
Our #5 scorer, Hronek: 0 points
Our #6 scorer, Lindholm: 0 points

Can't win if your top players don't deliver (especially on the PP).

Yep after seeing this game, we can safely say this: This team is not winning more than 1 round in the playoffs if they don't somehow elevate their level of play.

Thought we played fine most of the game. Got caught chasing hits in the 3rd and Juulsen doing it twice in 2 minutes cost us. Can't do that in the playoffs.

Top 6 didn't really show up, crap reffing in the 2nd, and Demko let in a very weak goal.

Every time Shane O'Brien scored, we always lost. Regular season and playoffs lmao

Our top guys and PP need to figure their stuff out. They’ve done a lot of great work this year but they’ve all kind of collectively gone into a slump at the same time.

Getting depth goals from the likes of Juulsen and Myers is crucial - but we needed our special teams to bury them tonight and they didn’t.

Entertaining game up until about 15 minutes left in the third - and then the Jets shut us down rather clinically.

They've played Boeser in the bumper quite often but he can't hit the broad side of a barn when he's not feeling it (lately this is always).

I miss Horvat. He's probably the best bumper PP player in the League

The commentators talked about how the Canucks watched the Lightning PP and took away how they are constantly moving around and keeping the PK guessing. That’s part of it for sure.

But the real difference is the lightening work as hard when they are on the PP as they do when they are 5 on 5. That should be the real takeaway.

That and Kuch is light years ahead of Petey. At least right now.

Canucks got chasing big plays and hits instead of the game. They need to be more mature. Special teams just ain't wokring why not go back to a setup that has?
