I don't mind the pairings. We really don't have much information about most of these guys yet so you have to start somewhere.

I would've rather of hosted the Rangers at BMTSP for our home opener.

Find Hienola is on our roster as a nine-game stint call-up, but we'll see what he can do, maybe he adds depth to our D.

No, I'd rather that Bitetto surprises everybody and plays like a legit NHL defenseman.

That would be nice but he is 29 YO, has only accumulated 132 NHL games, never more than 32 NHL gms in a season, never more than 7 pts. This guy can't play like a legit NHL Dman because he isn't one. He is an AHL'er.

As far as this Jets season... I have to admit I do not expect a playoff spot...

This does not mean I don't think there will be good events or player positives...

It means we have an uphill walk to school... both ways...

Hoping for the best but expecting much less...

As long as someone sends Trouba flying ass over tea kettle into the bench at some point, I will walk away happy whatever the result.

I'll be very disappointed if nobody makes his life a bit more difficult.

Fun but bad.

Hard to say they added some skill and some defence but they still lack a lot of experience up and down the lineup. I'd say bubble team with a chance to surprise.

I don't think so. Pionk is 5 years younger but already has almost as many NHL games - despite a late start. He was seriously weak defensively last year but was in a very poor situation. The jury is still out. Kulikov and Beaulieu are not in the top half of all NHL Dmen, but they are NHL Dmen. Morrissey is certainly an NHL Dman. The rest are unproven. Except for Bitetto. He is proven.
