I notice Appleton is always out killing penalties when we need him. Perhaps that's why?

Then again, I won't pretend I understand most player personnel decisions that the team makes. I just trust to the fact that Chevy and Bones and Arnie and some other nicknames I can't recall right now have a lot more expertise than I will ever have and they work with these players intimately on a daily basis.


There's a lot to said for the occasional one off.

Good for you ... and I mean it in a good way. You don't read someone's negative comment(s) and repeat it making it an echo chamber. You question it because you don't see it. I just wish there was more people like you.
I don't like calling down players but I understand why fans get upset if that player cost the Jets a game but what gets me is the player has a few good games plus the Jets win but they still call him down for not having a perfect game.
We all know Appleton is not a top 6 player but for $2M I don't have a problem with him having a bad game here and there on the bottom 6.
People need to realize salary cap is a big part of the game and if there was no salary cap the Jets would not be able to compete or even be in Winnipeg.

This has nothing to do with me. Check back over all my postings. I have never complained about The Dude and I've never called for a banning of the infantile obsession with large mammary glands. The only time I've complained is when a posting is derogatory or implies violence. And, to my knowledge, The Dude has never done that. Plus he's a cool dancer.

That's a kind way of putting it. Some folks say I question things because I'm clueless.

I also wonder how 'perfect' some of these critics are in their own game. I thought I was perfect today until I was setting up a halo light that I was loaned to film a job application and ending up burning the pad on my left thumb. Do you know how often you use your thumb in a day?

Oh well, tomorrow I'll start out being perfect. But eventually I'll have to get up.

I agree and i also think Iafallo gets a bit of a bad rap too, the guy doesn't score but playing with Scheifele and Connor he does work his ass off getting to the tough area trying to get the puck to Scheifele and Connor . I love the depth the Jets have, gone are the days of having absolutely no 4th line and Scheifele, Connor and Wheeler playing 25 minutes a night and being too tired to back check.

Now connor just doesn't backcheck by choice haha

I feel bad I kinda watched the game.

They weren’t ready to play tonight. That’s it. No cohesion, not enough smarts out there, and they were simply outworked. The coaches didn’t have them ready to play, again. Spiritually, Samsonov shat himself with every odd man rush.

Powerplay is ending and Domi decided to make a risky pass back to the point on the penalty box side and that’s the difference in the game. What a befeckit dunce.

It’s a shame this team is so poorly coached.. Imagine this team with a Montgomery, Cassidy, Cooper, Brind Amour.

The silver lining to all this is that once we’re bounced in round 1 Keefe will finally be f#$@#ing tossed and Brodie can take a hike.

Maybe we need to think about a fish for a mascot. Sculpin, Tarpon, Mighty Flounder? (F'n Winnipeg is hogging the Coelacanth)

A) Easily consumed... over consumed regionally...
