Well that was a game pretty much devoid of any highlights. I'd say there were 2. Buff's hit and the standing ovation for Kropy.

Wanted them to win for Kroppy. Then I wanted them to lose for a top 3 pick.

That was the 1st time that I had ever seen that. Pretty classy all around.

It really is. Took my dad to the first game in 2011 and we noticed Kroppy before he was a major celeb all decked out in his veterans garb. So we thanked him for his service and bought him a coffee. Sat down with him for 20 minutes - he's one of those old timers you wish you could talk to for hours. Great guy. Well deserved standing o.

Well that was a pretty boring game.

As mentioned the Jets as a whole were not very good.

The top line was pretty out of sync from the get go.

The defense was a mess tonight as well.

I continue to like what I see from Petan lately. He is starting to show his skill more consistently and I like the edge that he's playing with. Its only a matter of time before the points start coming for him imo.

Went to the game with my mom, sat in the P1s. That was fun, made an otherwise boring game seem fresh. Remember the days when you were mortified to be seen anywhere with your parents (and for some reason, especially with your mom)?

She sometimes surprises me with her hockey knowledge:

Me: "Uh...you mean 71?"

I thought Ehlers had his worst game in a while , gave the puck away alot and made some bad passes . Stuart SUCKS !!
Buff is awesome , man i would NEVER have my head down if i was a playing Buff . And i know Trouba is playing with Stuart but he has not been close to the player he was in years 1 and 2 . The extra money Chevy will have to pay Scheifele will be saved on Trouba , Trouba looks like a 4 million dollar defensman not 7 million.
