Love the hot takes in this thread. KK is getting stronger and is putting the tools together to be an impact C. Yesterday’s goal was an excellent example of strong defensive play in his zone followed by a crisp accurate outlet pass followed by dogged determination to score. Scary to think how strong he will be in 3 years at 23 years old

He may take the Couturier timeline.. both are tall and lanky and need(ed) time to fill out. But good offensive skills/defensive skills and have the body to effectively protect the puck/throw a hit. Couturier has become an awesome 2way C.. hopefully Kotkaniemi can have a similar trajectory.
