This new interface is annoying and sucks

It's actually an improvement.

I'm on another forum that made the same upgrade, it was annoying at first but overtime it improved.

Among other things you can get a notification if you're quoted, which is helpful.

Maybe it hadn't loaded properly. It's much better now actually.
Before it was just all spaced out with no separation between posts, just weird.

Quoting people is unnecessarily difficult(unless I haven't figured out an easier way yet), and the white is really annoying.

You click on Quote and then on insert quotes and that's it.
Clicking "reply" will quote a single post.

Clicking "quote+" stores them for a multi-quote, and then you have to click "insert quotes" and then tap the "X" in the top right corner.

Can anybody help me figure out how to change the message under my profile picture?

Thanks

Quoting is only clicking the reply button. Mutliquoting is not intuitive at all though.

Hmmm, I guess that's it.

Top right corner, where your avatar is. Should be in there somewhere.

I also noticed that animated gifs don't animate anymore.

Yeah, thanks but did that already, can't seem to find it.

Is there a way for users to revert back to the old style, like with IMDB?

For nostalgic purposes, this is the last known image of the last HFBoards skin prior to this new one.

I do not think so. Probably a good think. The code of the old board was sketchy as ****.

Yeah but they could always do a skin that resembles more the old version.

As you can see from the picture, change the tint and color scheme at least.

I want it back.
Some times change is good. Eventually most of us will look back and go "ewww how did we prefer that crappy skin over this beautiful one". Always happens.

That's what they tried to do with the colors. vBulletin is totally different from XenForo. And mind you - HF was probably running a very old design (maybe even version of vBulletin), which was just out of date since forever. It's probably impossible to have a skin that not only has the color, but also the structure of the old board, without recoding everything,
