At this point, I'm really rooting for Smith. He looks OK out there. Not great positioning but no big issues in his game lately. But he can't buy a point and ends the game -1 after playing 2nd most minutes.

Then there's DeKeyser who makes decent plays but still has his moments when you wonder what he's thinking.... and he comes out with 2 points and +1.

Awful first period had an impact. Great comeback in the following two. Z deserved that Hattrick, way to go.

Whole team looked like garbage first period. The turnovers leading to soft goals. Just badness all around.

But that's just SOP for this team this year. How many times they give up the first goal and win anyway? How many times have they had a disgusting first period effort? Far too many times. I mean, I guess I'm glad they're mentally strong enough and skilled enough to get comeback wins, but I'd really just rather they start on time..

Needs to work on that shot selection. I understand he's trying to stick at this level, but he's trying to beat NHL goalies nowadays like Yzerman did against Jon Casey. Other than that, I like his hustle and positioning.
