Guys I don't mean to spam the lounge here, but I just saw quite possibly the greatest catch ever. Odell Beckham of the Giants with a crazy good one handed TD catch while falling on his back.

I was at Carter-Finley that day when Calvin Johnson made that one handed catch as a freshman. This catch I think is better.

That catch is way more ridiculous than the ridiculous I concocted in my head before seeing the play.

That's probably the best way I've heard it described.

I was so close to getting him for Charles Sims in my dynasty league about 3 weeks ago. So much for that value.

I'm not smart enough for half of these signs.

Then again, the only math I ever bothered with in college was business calc and business stats (which was taught by the econ department), and I promptly forgot it all because I never used any of it. Kept the books, though, in case I'm ever in a job where that knowledge might be useful.

So that last sign pertains to you, then.

But if you're serious (which I doubt)...

1. cos(2*pi) = 1, AKA "Harvard is #1"
2. The square root of a negative number doesn't exist as a real number but rather is in terms of an imaginary unit i, therefore "Yale win = imaginary"
3. And the last one just basically calls people stupid. "My first sign was too intellectual for you unrefined thugs" or whatever you want to make of it.

Perhaps. Although I did understand it, so I might have been able to understand his first sign too. :sarcasm:

I have completely forgotten sines, cosines, and tangents. I didn't even see the square root sign the first time, but I do remember that from high school.

I'm going to be in a world of hurt if I ever want to take the GMAT again. I got a 740 the first time around, but I don't think I could do that again.

The craziest thing about that Beckham catch, for me at least, was that if you watch the replay, he didn't even use his whole hand. He caught it with three fingers.

Also, as someone who is fairly reputable at Chess and who also went to Alabama for grad school, I'm almost tempted to find out who made this sign and take them up on it. I shall take up the banner of the SEC's Math & Physics departments and defend their collective honor

I don't think I've ever seen a football player wear glasses during a game. I assume he's wearing a band so they don't fall off.
