Yeah and u devil guys think u can trade for a generational dman for peanuts lol

Ty Smith has 9 less points as a rookie than Hughes and is +1 as apposed to Quinn being -17
In addition NJ is throwing in a player the took 7th overall in the last draft
an additional 1st likely to be in the top 5 and a 2nd round pick

These are peanuts??

I get you like Quinn but you're being crazy

Only way I see them playing together is once Quinn becomes a UFA and leaves Vancouver in 4 years

chances are better to see the Hughes from NJ to VAN... but for the sake of this thread

To NJ:
Q. Hughes

To VAN:
T. Smith
A. Holtz / 2022-1st (unprotected)
2021-2nd

Why does everyone think Jack would leave NJ? He loves it here and he gets to grow with a young core - and also lives an a cultural hub on the east coast

Still waiting to know where Quinn is walking in 3 years.

I think the answer is going to be to whoever pays the most. I don’t think any of the Hughes kids leave a nickel on the table and won’t be shy about it. Guys like Quinn Jack and even a guy like Petterson will lose some of their luster when they play hardball on each of their contracts.

That will probably be the clubs that they already play on though. Hischier is making much more money with his long term $7mm AAV deal than he would if he used bridge deals and arbitration to walk himself to UFA.
