He's very capable of vega very useful young player. Perhaps the info is the best position for him.
Hopefully he just remembers what he needs to do to be successful. So many Leaf kids have little blips of success and then forget why they're in the league altogether.
he might be better suited as a winger
Man has he every bounces back, wish I could say the same for Bernier.
Holland .. 18 games 4 goals 5 assists 9 points [TOI/g 12:22]
Kadri .... 23 games 2 goals 6 assists 8 points [TOI/g 18:38]
Holland has seemed to pull himself out of the coaches doghouse and started producing statistically.
Holland is not like an overwhelming concern. The footprint that he will leave will be a virtually invisible one.
Maybe he'll be one of the insulators they keep, as he was one they trusted enough to talk to the prospect last summer. He isn't young, he'll be 25 in January, but he does seem to grow on people.
On a 41 point pace.
Time will tell but he has said, and I'm paraphrasing, that he thought he was owed a spot on the roster but he now realizes that he needs to earn his spot every game. Thus far he still remembers the lesson. Let's hope it remains with him as long as he's with the leafs.Hopefully he just remembers what he needs to do to be successful. Holland or Spaling ?
Leafs might keep one as their 3rd line centre next year.
While Babcock seems to like Spaling in a checking role, statistically Holland is more effective and contributes more in that respect..

Holland's good play of late has been on the wing .. Hard to say he's a centre option until he can prove to be effective there.
I've been advocating trying him out on the wing for awhile and I'm glad to see he's picked it up there. Would really be interesting to see him on Kadri's wing.
Holland only has 3 points at even strength so right now his offense is as a PP specialist.
