There's a painter named Peter Shostak from Alberta who wrote & illustrated a book entitled "Hockey ... under winter skies." Beautiful winter scenes focused on childhood hockey play in that book. Much of his artwork can be viewed on his website. You can also Google "Peter Shostak winter art" to see many of his pieces.

^^^ Great old ads from the early post WW2 years.... That is absolutely something else that a major baker would brand his bread after The Rocket. Never seen anything close to that elsewhere. Had the famous Wheaties boxes with pictures of various sports stars on them but still, called "Wheaties", but never a staple product like bread. Endorsements for food & drink products & so on sure but not a "title". Branded after. Not during that era & few since.... Gretzky & a few others have wines, cottage breweries have named beers after players but all of that fairly recent & named after as a lot of these guys bought wineries, or with the breweries "retro" labeling. Like Johnny Bower Pale Ale or whatever. All long retired players. Targeting the Boomer Generations. GenX .
