The future St. Cloud forward from California is a skilled goal-scorer who is at his best when engaged and playing at tempo with confidence (like most players), has a polished scoring skillset no small part of which is an accurate laser of a shot.

You had a monster draft. As well as could be expected with CBJ and their ridiculous number of picks. Great job man.

Thank you! Honestly I would've been content with just my first 4 picks and could've walked away with that, haha. I'd assume CBJ will move a few of those picks for warm bodies. Doesn't make sense drafting 11 guys in the same year, would be hard to getting all those guys under contract if they pan out.

"He's very, very cerebral," Stanstead director of hockey James Rioux says. "He has a high hockey IQ."

Jankowski is also described as having good speed, good hands and excellent vision. As well as a strong work ethic.

I hadn't really heard of him till just now. Was wanting a dman anyway with that pick and felt Diffley would be a good story for the hometown kid.

With the 198th pick, the Winnipeg Jets select D Will Borgen.

To be honest I know very little about him other than he's RHD and 6'2. After seeing his name, my first reaction was 'who the **** is Will Borgen?' 90% of this pick was because he was an HM on Bob McKenzie's list.

If it works for Bob, it works for me. Here is what Button said about him:

He's a well-rounded player who can contribute in all areas from his position but will not necessarily excel in any one aspect. He plays at a good pace, has confidence with the puck, tries to make plays, jumps into the attack and attentive to defence. He has a lot of raw attributes but potential is good.
