I keep on managing to lose weight somehow. I really don't get it.

So I have been attempting to bulk for the past couple of weeks and its really taking a toll on me. Taking in significantly more calories than I am used to is causing my body to act quite strange. I'll be extremely bloated one day, and the next feel very trim and fit the next. Any advice on this? Most of my extra calories are just from pasta and protein supplement.
One warm-up set should be plenty.How many bench set warm ups do you guys do? I've usually done two but am thinking more may be beneficial.
How much salt are you taking in? A higher than normal salt intake could be leading to your bloated feeling. I'm no expert but I think you'd want to go over your calories with more protein/fats and less carbs. I would imagine that's why you're feeling bloated.
