Personal Question:

I'm a novice player here, been playing for 3 months. Been wearing a mouth guard but it's difficult to breathe.
Weird question but how do you breathe with it?
Do I breathe just with my mouth? Breath just with my nose?

1. Inhale first breath with mouth
2. Exhale first breath with mouth
3. Inhale second breath with nose
4. Exhale second breath with nose
5. Restart at 1

so it wasn't something i imagined, it it true, a lot of young players are not using them. i really think that is dumb as hell.

look at a young player like drew doughty, looks like crap with no front teeth, anyone know if he ever has worn a mouth guard, or did his teeth get knocked out even though he was wearing one ?

Drew pulls off the no teeth look, probs look better than he would with teeth.

Most hockey players are mouth breathers so there really isn't an issue.
