Monty starting 2 straight games. MSL must be testing Monty against a top NHL team to see how he fares and likely playing his best goalie to try and keep his team from getting completely blown out I guess.
I'm expecting Monty to start at least half of the Habs remaining games even if they still have 3 goalies on the roster after the deadline, which I suspect they will.

Team and coach play to win. I like the message it sends that ice time is not random whether you perform or not; Monty was their best player Tuesday.
I like how Savard framed it “as a player, that some guy we pick will maybe be better than some other guy we pick in 3-5 years is not a concern” (or something close…).

A nice demoralizing loss is what the tank needs. Really shake up Monty’s confidence.
It seems like we take a physical beat down every time we play them.
It would be nice to get some push back from Anderson and Armia to name a few.
Florida make contact all over the ice and don't care where the puck is.
They do it really well and manage to stay out of the box while doing it.
This team, coming off a 5 game losing streak, just got outplayed by a decent margin by the Arizona Coyotes.

I have a feeling.
Would be nice to have some aggressiveness in Habs' game. Dress Pezz for tonight. Hopefully Struble can play. Dump Harris (good god). Arber, Pezz, Struble, Kova. I mean it can work for one game.
More likely a 3-0 Habs win with a 15 save shutout. Panthers are scum. They will choke.

The last time we played them Sam Bennett that fake tough guy was taking runs at some of our players let's start with him.
That other Sam Reinhart along with Aaron Ekblad were also acting belligerent so continue on with them.
Finally Brandon Montour was also acting like an asshole. Finish with him...

Florida has been up for every game against us since we trounced them at season's end a few years ago.
I expect more of the same.
One team is a legitimate Cup contender while the other one would have a difficult time winning the Calder Cup

Bring back Pezz, he doesn't deserve to be out this long. And sit out Yolo or Pearson or Gally or Andy, knowing MSL, Yolo it will be.
