He was let go with the entire staff so unclear.
He had become more than a goalie coach, and had taken a role of coaching with Cameron's group teaching philosophy. Team wanted all fresh voices.

Hopefully our new goalie coach will teach Anderson how to stop wrap-arounds.
Steve Thomas is not returning to Tampa next year. I wonder if we would have interest.
Supposedly Arturs Irbe would like to return as a goalie coach for the NHL.
I wouldn't mind him either. He was in Washington just as Holtby and Varlamov and all them were breaking out in initially as I recall, so seems to be good at getting goalies NHL ready. Maybe not finishing them (but really we just need to figure out when we can steal Mitch Korn from Washington).
Where is Martin Brodeur these days or my favourite Tom Barasso ... best quotes in the business.
As long as Irbe brings those pads with him. On a different not, what happened to Francois Aillaire? Is he still in the league?
Anyone read keslers comments about wanting the next coach to be a better strategist? To make more changes on the fly and not just between periods? To hold everyone accountable and not just some guys?
Very telling comments about Boudreau if you ask me.
Looks like the wrong link?

Cory Conacher calling boucher the "least defensive coach hes ever played for" Saying Boucher does not believe in dumping the puck in and giving up possession

Good. In this day and age, with so many highly skilled guys out there, there is no reason for a good team to have the 'dump and chase' as part of it's regular gameplay. Pass the puck, dangle for a few seconds, or do a curl back for the few seconds while guys change...seems to be much more productive than dumping the puck in the corner and hoping you get it back (especially for a team with average speed).
Key term in here was good team.
This style of play is very much like possession style in soccer. There's a reason why most teams don't do it. Because it's extremely deficit and requires talent in most positions. Do we have the talent to play keep away from most teams in the NHL? I don't think so.
