Well, it's no secret that one of the reasons Kuznetsov is not coming over is a chance that he'll get sent down to AHL. I don't think Hunter's work helps things.

Yeah man its ridiculous. Orlov had one bad turn over that turned into a chance in the last game of the season, but they have Wideman and Schultz playing like absolute crap and this team having triple as many turn overs as the other team all playoffs long.

Refs just missed at least 3 calls

-Tripping on Zherdev
-Holding on Kuznetsov along the boards (longer than 5 seconds)
-Hooking on Perezhogin just now

not to forget spearing for Nedved

Russia usually gets the short end of the stick from the refs.

BS call on Malkin, puck was loose - he had all the right to go for it.

Good game, credit to the Coaches- very organized team.

I think Zherdev and Shirokov will likely be the ones to go. Zherdev continues to disappoint in important games (much like his days in NHL).

Svitov line is solid. Kuznetsov and Datsyuk are strongly building chemistry, I wouldn't want to break that line.

Will be interesting what Ovechkin does with Malkin, hopefully he reclaims the balance Malkin clearly stole from Ovechkin, Malkin is so ****ing strong on the puck its crazy.

Didn't like the offensive aggression from the Czechs.. Too many missed opportunities but Russia made it that way by good defense... Czechs had the shots on goal, but that doesn't say much... They played a decent game but still far from anything worth a run at a medal... Time to gather chemistry before the QF.... :p:

Well, a decent game. Barulin was solid, Malkin was a superhero.
Sadly, Datsyuk and Kuznetsov continue to disappoint. When Alexanders come, Kuzya and Shirokov or Zherdev get demoted, and rightfully.
Pavel still looks not healthy. Defensemen were okay, but missing hipchecks too often.
Hope now for a relatively easy game against Italy.
