This could get very ugly for Italy, I'm sure the Swedes aren't to happy about the game against Russia and will take out there frustration on Italy.

Edwardson didn't play yersteday and I guess he will not play today. The coach finaly realised that what he can give to the team isn't enough for a World championship. Bolzano won the Italian title this year and Edwardson didn't appear in any playoff game (!!!).

Some of our best players rested some in the third period last night, but don't know what to expect. Hard to say if they will go for revenge or just win. Hornqvist in but Franzen could be out for this one.

Probably along the lines of 6-1.

So franzen out, Alfredsson may be out, Zetterberg and Eriksson will play as "extra wingers". Time for others to step up a notch? Brynas line should play with a purpose tonight.

Franzén is resting this game, he said it to TV4.

Edit: Uh oh... Boman is the referee tonight again?

Atleast it's not Keith Kaval, from WC to WJC to WC again hes been the uncontested worst referee of the tournament time and time again.

It's hard to forget that... special face, much less his qualitys as a referee. Everytime I see him on the ice I get chills down my spine :shakehead

Is this a joke or misprint, same ******* referee AGAIN??

Seems like we're sitting Franzen, Franzen and Ericsson - and using Zetterberg and Eriksson as sparingly as possible.

We're basically rolling three lines, have a completely useless goalie and played a hard game last night.

Time for an epic upset by the Italians? Best possible chance right now.

Wont happen if Silfverberg, Järnkrok and Larsson gets iced a lot. They're well rested and are better than all the players on the Italian team.

Rest the top players save Hörnqvist and play the byrnäs line.
