Well, that's really hard to say. Maybe you could argue that those those would improve the Swiss team by, say, 20%, and those Canadian guys would improve their team by, say, 5%. But those 5% might be the difference between gold and silver, whereas the 25% for the Swiss might push them from sixth to fourth. Who's to say what's more important for the team then? None of those guys are playing and let's just leave it at that, and set speculation aside.

A bit off-topic, but a question for those that know Swiss players. Vermin isn't really pronounced in the English way, is it? What about Richard, is the French pronunciation (like in Rocket Richard) correct, as well?

Richards Dad Mike grew up in Ontario ( http://eliteprospects.com/player.php?player=28046 ) so it is pronounced in the English way.

Vermins name is originally from Netherland and therefore it isn't pronounced the English way.
