Am i the only one who doesn't see anything special in Matthews ? Its like he's decent at alot of different skills but doesn't excel in any either...

He also seems to be playing a much more structured game looking to establish possession and cycle the puck as oppose to the run-and-gun wild west style.

Only the first couple periods of the tournament against a really good team as well. Who knows, he may yet light things up.

This is one of the tightest defensive games I can remember ever seeing in this tournament. There is no room out there at all.

Barzal has made some of the best, and easily the worst plays of this game. He was a fraction of a second away from sending the US on a shorthanded breakaway, and a fraction of an inch from backhanding the puck in his own net. He's made some really nice offensive plays, though.
