Pretty sure LA looks like this right now:

And definitely nowhere close to being one of the best places in the world to live.

I live here and it doesn’t. I’m not telling you to live here. But it’s a great place to live, especially if you have millions of dollars.

It’s always funny that a players no trade list includes teams that wouldn’t want him anyway lol

Depends on what you want man.

I lived there for 2 years, and I hated every second of it. I did pretty well for myself and I hated it.
Several of my colleagues made millions in their mid-20's and still couldn't wait to get out of there.

The people are shallow, the schools aren't safe, and you're stuck in traffic all the f***ing time.
Yes I had colleague who was addicted to coke and married a porn-star.
(It's actually a funny story in hindsight than any kind of positive portrayal of LA).

Saying its huge is a massive understatement. My ex-girlfriend lived 2 hours away from me IN THE SAME f***ING CITY.
Burbank to San Pedro took me a 2 hour drive at 11:30pm on Thursday.

What I'm saying is. A pro hockey player is immersed in his passion playing 82 hockey games a season. He doesn't need -40 and blanket of snow with ODR and hot cocoa to feel like he's close to his passion.

Kids like winter. If an adult told me he enjoyed Calgary in January I'd look at him odd.

Yes, but not every person on the planet hates cold weather and needs to live somewhere warm.

Per Coyotes reporter Craig Morgan, Alex Goligoski has listed the below 8 teams to which he won’t accept a trade:

Buffalo
Calgary
Detroit
Edmonton
Los Angeles
Montreal
Ottawa
Winnipeg

He is a solid top-4 veteran D who can play both sides, PP, PK, and eat up low 20 minutes. He is also signed to a fair price and a contract that expires next summer.

Coyotes likely looking for picks or young assets.

That looks like the standard NTC list minus LA being listed instead of Toronto.

To each their own. I'm the opposite, I plan on making the above listed into my retirement home when the day comes. Meanwhile I find a city like Toronto to be hell on earth. Wouldn't trade the worst year in Toon for the best day in Toronto

understood, Saskatoon is actually a pretty city and go a few hours north for good hunting and fishing. I grew up in Regina and while a great place to grow up and play hockey, I don’t love the city and terrain

If I lived in Regina, I'd likely never go back either :p

Ok.... and? I mean u can even google it.. theres like 10% of the montreal pop that only speaks english.. about 50% of the people are billingual..
East side of town vs West side of town.

St.Laurent is technically the "division".

The further west you go, the more english speaking it becomes (also the more affluent).
Westmount is the "wealthy" english speaking area just west of Downtown (probably where they would live).

(All the partying, nightlife, and fun happens in the middle though).

It's always sad to see my city on these lists. I get it, Calgary isn't as sexy as the bigger cities in the U.S. and Canada, but it still sucks as a Flames fan. The only way this team is going to improve their skill is by drafting or taking a chance on soon-to-be busts.
Yup. The 5 smallest markets in the league happen to be cold, Canadian cities (and Buffalo).
