In 19-20 Zibanwjad was playing at a better clip over 40+ games than AM or MM at that time.

I have time for people saying McDavid is better. I don't for those who think Draisaitl is. Draisaitl is only a better player if you look only at raw point totals and pretend that defense and driving play in a positive direction don't matter. Even looking solely at points there is so much missing context that makes the gap even smaller.

EDIT: Not to take anything away for Matthews and his season, I've eaten crow for sure when it comes to him. I just love Draisaitl and his game, but when it comes to the elite superstar centres MacK/Leon/Barkov/Matthews.... Pick your poison. I don't really see a wrong answer outside of personal preferences.
