If it makes anyone feel better, the Oilers lost to the Canucks 4 to 3 in a game where they out shot them 40 to 16. Could be worse!

But yeah, some real bad defensive reads from the young Dmen in like a 10 minutes span cost us. Way too early to give up on Schneider or Jones but HF gonna HF.

Also 2 games and no noticeable Bread giveaways. Stonks rising!
Totally agree. Some bad plays by the third pair but it’s no reason to get all up-in-arms. It’s life when a team is developing guys. We get flashes and excitement and also mistakes that end up in the back of the net.

It's not about give up or not. They're on the team now and they suck now.

Wow look at how many multiples of medium dangers that it takes for low dangers to even come close in expected goals.

Guilty parties include d-men bombing from the point (looking at you Trouba and Schneider) and the goalie-crest shooting forwards (like Vesey and Kakko).

Look at the blue expected goals. We huffed and puffed and looked busy, even "dominating", but Columbus made a good job of minimizing the difference in quality between the teams.
