Koppanen? Sorry, yet again for my ignorance, when was this kid drafted and what`s his story? Is he one of the many who just recently joined the B`s? Thx

Koppanen was drafted in the 5th round in 2016. He's a 20 years old Finn, and this past year was his first in Finland's top professional league, Liiga. 14 points in 45 games played. He plays both center and LW. He had a solid WJC-20 tourney, with 4 points in 5 games. I think he's viewed more as a bottom 6 forward, if he reaches the NHL.

They got him in the 5th round in 2016 (McAvoy’s draft). There was some head scratching about him because of a lack of offense and doubts that his skating would allow him to play a defensive game at the next level. But I guess he’s been developing well.

I didn't realize Frederic was 6'5" 215. Jesus. Would love to see a monster line of Frederic, Koppanen and Senyshyn.

Did he grow 2 more inches? I know he was drafted at 6'2" from the combine stats but in last year's development camp he was 6'3" per the Bruins measurements. That's very rare to grow another 2 inches at 19-20 in just 9 months.
Koppanen is supposed to be 6'5" so maybe some site mixed them up.

Either way, the Bruins added a lot of size at center in that one draft.

Carlo is 6'5" and you can see a big difference between he and frederic on the ice and I sorta doubt frederic grew two inches since I saw him at camp...there would probably be an article about it that's such a drastic change

Weird. Maybe they mixed them up? Koppanen is 6'5" and Frederic grew an inch to 6'4"?

Frederic is a smidge taller than whatever Lauzon is allegedly suppose to be which is around 6' 2''. Definitely not taller than 6' 3'', not that it matters. Listed hockey height and weights are about as believable as WWE height/weights.
