Forgive me, I’m an outsider. Just noticed the Coyotes are playing 3 games today. If I’m not mistaken, 2 are in Kansas and 1 is in Australia. How did this come about? Why schedule games in North America while some of the team is in Australia?

I don't think anyone in this forum works at NHL scheduling, so I doubt we can give a decent answer. I read that it was supposed to be Boston and LA, but Boston bowed out. Maybe the STL games were already scheduled. This could have been the result when the Coyotes agreed to go to Melbourne. I could be 100% wrong.
