Because it's his job to challenge the shooter and trust Martin to take away the pass. He didn't come out far enough but I blame it more on the turnover and the lack of anyone covering for Burns sliding down and Thornton for taking a very low percentage play.

It was a meaningless game (let's be realistic, we were going to end up 3rd no matter what) and the guys played like it. Pretty predictable loss, not remotely upset about it.
