Can’t really be mad at the team. Imo they had complete control of that game up until the double minor. All while missing their top players

Stinks but that’s how she goes sometimes.

And Dobby played UNREAL.

The non call against Nash was clearly because of the score and time of game

Chara drew blood the refs had no way out

The thought of NHL darlings Toronto in the first round is a scary thought - even Montreal doesn't bother me when it comes to the refs as the Leafs would

I'm still pissed....wish I could shake it, the B's played great (cept for Charas last few mins), but the way this game/reffing went down against a team that is fighting against the odds each night.....still pissed.
The whiskey I poured probably isn't a smart idea...oh well.

Not saying that there weren't issues with the reffing, but the Bruins could have scored in the second or third period at even strength. :dunno: We did still have Krejci, Nash, DeBrusk, Krug, etc.

Oh well.

All anyone who didn't get a chance to watch the game needs to see as the reason we lost.

I just wish it wasn't so predictable, I really do, like I'm never mad about a game that's lost because one team outplayed the other, but when you can predict exactly what's going to happen in that the other team will get a powerplay in the last few minutes to go for the win... there's a big ****ing problem with the league.

..... I would have been upset if they called something like this against the Bruins.

Specifically towards the end of a 1-1 game.

So I respectfully disagree.

Not a big deal with four players missing. Cmon, anyone think the Bruins couldn’t take the Blackhawks in 4 or 5 game in the best of 7. Gift game.

My biggest concern in the playoffs is officiating and DOPS, I have zero faith that we will get a fair shake. This is quadrupled when we play the Leafs.

Same...it wasn't good last year vs Ottawa and horrible in 2014 vs Habs...would rather play metro teams...

I have no confidence with NHL...

It's a reason I would like playoff format changed plus it trying to force rivalaries; it's not fair for some of the matchups too...

So you're in favor of selective refereeing? Call the penalty, regardless. That's a penalty. Cross check, interference....

Here's some selective refereeing (Powerplay time since 2007-2008 for the Bruins)

2007-2008 - 28th
2008-2009 - 28th
2009-2010 - 29th
2010-2011 - 24th
2011-2012 - 24th
2012-2013 - 30th
2013-2014 - 30th (by 50 minutes, which is same gap as 29th to 14th)
2014-2015 - 29th
2015-2016 - 29th
2016-2017 - 16th!!!! oh my god we did it, we almost made the top half of the league
2017-2018 - 19th

I did see that and referee saw it too.

Really poor player management by sweeney

There should have been an extra fwd hanging around prior to Marchand minor injury

The team didn't do enough to score earlier in the game. That miss by Holden certainly didn't help.

We can get mad about the refs and the injuries, but at the end of it, the team wouldn't have been in that position if they'd been better with the puck. Pasta turned it over quite a few times, if I recall correctly...although Keith is a savvy veteran, so maybe that should be expected.

Without Marchand or Bergeron, this team plays and looks different. Nobody should be surprised by that.
