Absolute garbage officiating tonight. The islanders got away with so many obvious penalties. I find ever since we started getting ahead in the wildcard race the officiating has become way more inconsistent.

Detroit was just not into the game tonight. There were no big hits, lots of unnecessary giveaways (like seiders that end up costing us the game). Also lyon had nice saves tonight but he also didn't look on his game.

Why are the Wings always the team to get shafted by the refs? There were at least 6 blatant calls in the 3rd that were "missed" Angel Hernandez style.

Looks like a team that's played 5 games in 8 nights. Sloppy, slow, uncoordinated.

Same type of team that always gives them trouble, aggressive forechecking with fast pests and constant puck pressure. Most of our roster doesn't have the hockey IQ to pull them out of position and exploit the seams. The second Maatta goal was a good example of using it against them.
