The NHL basically does in their event summaries during a game. Some sites just take that info & puts it into a big database.

Very clever people basically write code so that the information is extracted from the NHL's game-sheets.

Though zone entry stuff etc is not from that... it is manual.

Basically, you automate the process and have it pull data from NHL.com. Then you build in contingencies because of issues like the two Sebastian Ahos and other naming quirks. That’s how the overwhelming majority of the shot metrics are done.

Some people skip that step and acquire JSON files from other people who have already done step 1.

I find Corsica impossible to navigate. At least on mobile anyway. For instance that link does not direct me to Provy-Ghost, nor can I find it on my own there lol

I went back and rewatched and sure looked like he was on the bench the whole time. Benching or some sore of equipment would,be the best options I think.

Sadly our beats won't ask the question, or aren't allowed to.

I’m guessing a combination of special teams minutes & Hakstol getting too caught up in line matching.

In the process of looking for Provy/Ghost numbers Gudas/Sanheim are 2nd best pair by CF% and 7th best by xGF% (minimum 200 minutes) in the NHL but Brandon motherf***ing Manning needs a roster spot :'(

Ignore eye-test, ignore data and stick with those excellent defensive pairings of

Manning/Gudas and AMac/Hagg. Oh, and still bench Ghost in the last 5 minutes if the game is tied.
